Immediately After Treatment

  • Remain seated or lying down for at least 10-15 minutes after IV or Blood transfusion.
  • Notify staff immediately if you feel dizziness, nausea, or breath.
  • Keep the IV site clean and dry for the next 24 hours.
  • Mid bruising is normal; contact us if you notice swelling, redness, or severe pain.
  • Avoid heavy lifting or strenuous activity for the rest of the day.
  • Gradually resume normal activities as you feel comfortable.
  • Drink plenty of fluids unless otherwise directed.
  • Eat light meals for a few hours following the treatment.

Contact us immediately if you experience:

  • Severe shortness of breath or chest pain.
  • Persistent dizziness of fainting.
  • Swelling or redness at the IV site.
  • Unusual bleeding or allergic reactions (rash, itching, hives).
