- Remain seated or lying down for at least 10-15 minutes after IV or Blood transfusion.
- Notify staff immediately if you feel dizziness, nausea, or breath.
- Keep the IV site clean and dry for the next 24 hours.
- Mid bruising is normal; contact us if you notice swelling, redness, or severe pain.
- Avoid heavy lifting or strenuous activity for the rest of the day.
- Gradually resume normal activities as you feel comfortable.
- Drink plenty of fluids unless otherwise directed.
- Eat light meals for a few hours following the treatment.
